Despite the ongoing war in Ukraine for over a year, and the current situation in the private housing construction market and demand for landscaping services, the “BLUEBIRD” design studio strives for growth. The studio is expanding its horizons and collaborating with the best professionals in architecture and design.<\/p>\n

Have recent events in the country affected clients’ preferences? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Recent events in the country have led to a complete rethinking of the concept of housing due to the ongoing migration of Ukraine’s population, which has consequently shifted clients’ preferences and desires. As a result, our studio carefully monitors and studies not only the Ukrainian and European markets but also the global market as a whole.<\/p>\n

You recently returned from an exhibition in Italy. Tell us more about it. What impressed you, and what will you implement in your work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In previous years, I have made it a point to attend the most important and leading design exhibitions, such as Chelsea in London \u2014 the main event in the world of landscape design, and Maison et Objet in Paris \u2014 one of the key events in interior design.<\/p>\n

This year, despite the devastating events happening in our country, I was fortunate to visit the main furniture exhibition, Saloni, in Milan. This year\u2019s exhibition showcased not only the best global furniture manufacturers but also placed significant emphasis on lighting.<\/p>\n

The pavilions featuring leading factories that produce designer lighting turned into true spectacles. It was an incredible combination of soft music, smooth movements, and light. The top factories demonstrated cutting-edge technologies in the use of lighting in interiors.<\/p>\n

You also attended the Chelsea exhibition in England, which is visited by members of the royal family. Could you tell us more about it? Do they pay tribute to traditions there, or are innovations also embraced? <\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, the Chelsea Flower Show, the premier event in the world of landscape design, recently took place in London. Each year, the exhibition showcases the finest examples of flora, fauna, and gardening.<\/p>\n

This year, the first guests of the exhibition included King Charles III, his wife, Queen Consort Camilla, and Catherine, Princess of Wales.<\/p>\n

While the exhibition pays great respect to traditions, it also embraces innovation. The blend of classic elements with modern trends creates a truly unique atmosphere, offering inspiration to landscape designers and enthusiasts alike.<\/p>\n

This year, the main theme of the exhibition was \u201cFlowers in Film.\u201d One of the key gardens presented on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea was a garden dedicated to the memory and gratitude for the life of Queen Elizabeth II. From a young age, Queen Elizabeth II regularly accompanied her parents to the flower show. During her 70-year reign, she attended the exhibition over 50 times and served as its royal patron from 1952 until her passing in September 2022.<\/p>\n

What are the current trends in landscape design? How can you style your property according to the latest trends? What should those looking to transform their garden or plot focus on?<\/strong><\/p>\n

The leading trends and benchmarks in both landscape and interior design today emphasize simplicity and avoiding excess. Key directions include soft minimalism in interiors, a strong focus on environmental protection, creating relaxation and secluded zones for restoring psychological and physical well-being, and the use of natural materials and organic forms in decorative details.<\/p>\n

In your work, how do you handle clients who are still stuck in the past, choosing completely outdated designs? Do you try to persuade them or guide them in the right direction? <\/strong><\/p>\n

When working with clients, we strive to thoroughly understand their preferences, tastes, and needs to meet all their expectations. The specialists at our company always find an individual approach to even the most demanding and discerning clients. To achieve this, we always present several project options, allowing the client to explore different possibilities and make an informed choice.<\/p>\n
